Strength and Conditioning Coach Internship

Job Description: Assist the strength and conditioning staff in all day-to-day operations of the Catalyst Performance Training Center, White Bear Lake High School weight room, and Hudson High School weight room. Duties will include but are not limited to; assisting staff in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for in-season and out-of-season athletes, set up and breakdown of training equipment, and assisting in the maintenance/upkeep of each facility.

Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in exercise science or a related field. Experience in a strength and conditioning setting at the high school level is preferred, but not required. Must possess a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning coach at the high school or collegiate level. Intention of working towards certification through the NSCA (CSCS), USTFCCCA (Strength and Conditioning Coach Certification), or USA-W is required.

Compensation: This is an unpaid position. Class credit toward graduation requirements from your current institution will be approved by the Director of Strength and Conditioning. The opportunity to work with three experienced strength and conditioning coaches and other sports medicine staff, and the potential to earn future recommendations that will lay the foundation of your future career as a strength and conditioning professional are invaluable to the success of your internship with us.
