Strength and Conditioning Coach Internship
Job Description: Assist the strength and conditioning staff in all day-to-day operations of the Catalyst Performance Training Center, White Bear Lake High School weight room, and Hudson High School weight room. Duties will include but are not limited to; assisting staff in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for in-season and out-of-season athletes, set up and breakdown of training equipment, and assisting in the maintenance/upkeep of each facility.
Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in exercise science or a related field. Experience in a strength and conditioning setting at the high school level is preferred, but not required. Must possess a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning coach at the high school or collegiate level. Intention of working towards certification through the NSCA (CSCS), USTFCCCA (Strength and Conditioning Coach Certification), or USA-W is required.
Compensation: This is an unpaid position. Class credit toward graduation requirements from your current institution will be approved by the Director of Strength and Conditioning.
